Who Is A Hacker ?

The big question faced by the most people today is that WHO IS A HACKER?? Who ? What ? How? Now, this post will clear the picture and the misconception about the definition of a Hacker?

Most people in the real world have the false misconception regarding thedefinition of a Hacker? So to understand that first of all we must know thatwhat the hacker is not.

1. Hacker is not a Criminal who breaks the cyber laws or steal credit card numbers.

2. Hacker is also not a computer genius who knows all the tips and tricks on how to break in the FBI’s website.

3. Hackers are also not the people who break your e-mail passwords and break websites passwords etc.

All the above misconceptions regarding the hackers definition are wrong. All these misconceptions are created by the people themselves and are created by the mass media.

The Real Definition of a Hacker is, “A person who has some very interesting qualities, who want to do thing which are out of this world or the person who always want to test his limits is a Hacker.”

So by the definition we can say that the Scientists, Innovative people etc. all comes in the categories of a Hacker. Now the person who breaks into someone’s computer and steal password what that be called?

The person will be called “A CRACKER” or ” A BLACK HAT” hacker. The hacker’s or cracker’s are of two types :-

1. A White Hat Hacker – A Good Guy. Never Steal Passwords.

2. A Black Hat Hacker – A Bad Guy. Steal Passwords.

Cracker’s

1. Cracker’s who steal passwords or break into any website and harms someone, can also be called as ” A Black Hat HAcker.

2. Cracker’s who do the hacking work just for fun, never harm anyone.
