This article explains about the new Google's new social as well as promote feature which drives the benefit for content publishers in increasing traffic to their site and also it is intended for improvement in Google search relevance. The recommendations are sent by Google Buzz,Gtalk and Google Reader
Everybody knows Like in facebook and its success. Google is preparing grounds for implementation of "Recommend" symbol into search results. Let me explain clearly,
Assume you have searched for ISC in Google search if you got the exact search result for what you are searching then you can recommend the item through Google Buzz or Google Reader to your friends who are following you on Gmail or Blogger. For all this entire process you just need to click on small blue rectangular box which is having +1 text which appears to you on search results.
Later on Google is planning to implement this share feature for web content too. It will be like Stumble it!.
Purpose:
1.To increase search relevance in Google search listings.
2.To enhance the social touch in Gmail.
3.To drive the traffic for the sites. It not only helps the content publishers but also Adwords publishers too.
4.To serve personalized content.
Availability:
Presently final tests on this feature are going on. (Available on English google.com).
Pretty soon it will be available to all.
How to get:
At present all you can do is, signing up for availability notification. If the feature graduates (absolutely no doubt of availability) a notification news letter is sent to you by Google. Sign up at this link

You need to visit www.google.com/ncr. Ncr means no country redirect that means will be on google.com only until and unless you clears the cookies of browser.
You can now try the search and next to every the search result there will be +1 button, you need to click on it and a pop-up window will opens and asks you to confirm your action, confirm to "Recommend".
